Today kicks off the first NewNewYorker of the Week, a feature where you meet a reader of the blog and hear their stories! This feature remains open to any reader of the blog, not just the newest city-dwellers. First up: blogger and publicist Katharine Ricci,
Age: 25
Hood: Williamsburg
Job: Publicist

Ricci with a guinea pig named Emmie, who is totally on Twitter.
I moved here in: August 2007
My living situation is: two roommates and a cranky but cute guinea pig in a 3BR.
I moved here from: Rhode Island
The best advice I’ve gotten so far is: Take advantage of everything the city offers!
I’m most unsure about: what’s next.
My biggest achievement so far has been: being featured in Time Out New York for my blog, NYC Recession Diary.
The New Yorker I want to meet most is: other NYC bloggers.
The people I miss most today are: my mom and dad.
An interesting person I recently met here is: my friend Andrea Pack’s mom. She came out clubbing with us on Saturday!
My greatest discovery so far has been: Governor’s Island — what a fun place!
